Carrier-Neutral Interconnection Facility
60 Hudson Street, New York

Benefits and Technical Specs | Customers |Contact Info

telx operates the original and largest carrier-neutral interconnection facility in New York City. Based at 60 Hudson Street, telx provides network access to more than 130 network providers and enterprise customers within its 45,000 sq. ft. of secure facilities. The single greatest benefit enjoyed by all telx customers is the ability to participate in the world's largest marketplace for network interconnection services. Akin to a "seat on the exchange," telx customers are free to buy and sell a wide range of their network services directly in a neutral environment, cross-marketing products and services to one another.

Results
telx customers report increased sales revenue and profitability while lowering their operational and network costs.
"By being at telx, we reduced our time to market by 60%, and we reduced our overall operating cost by 35%- 45%."
Luis Estrada, Regional Director of Orbitel USA.

telx customers also enjoy the opportunity to leverage telx's marketing promotions, newsletters, press releases, case studies, and networking events to market their products and services to the telecom industry.

Here's what a past attendee of our invitation-only Customer Business Exchange said:

"Lots of people here...we picked up about 20 to 30 leads already that we will be following up on."
Jamie Martino
Last Mile Connections.

And most importantly, all our customers enjoy the telx commitment to security and support 100% of the time.

"Despite the largest blackout in U.S. history, the telx facilities at 60 Hudson Street have remained up and running, supporting customer networks at 100% power capacity, 100% of the time. telx maintains on-site, state-of-the-art emergency power generation systems, and other full-scale backup equipment and procedures, in place and ready for deployment. But most importantly, telx is supported by qualified and highly-responsive technicians and engineers who staff the facilities 24 hours, every day of the week."
-telx release as seen in EE Times, and CarrierHotels.Com.
