data and peering traffic, located in the heart of downtown
San Jose, California. MPT is a 289,965 square foot facility
that is home to MAE-West. Today in the telecommunications
community, MPT is widely known as one of the most connected
peering points around the globe. MPT is the ideal site
to optimize your network and host equipment in a stable
cost-effective manner. Managed services are available
based upon customer preference. NOC, smart-hands and support
are available 24/7.
In
February of 2000, The Carlyle Group purchased the Market
Post Tower building at 55 South Market Street, and developed
a master program to enhance the building's infrastructure.
The Carlyle Group, through its CRG West affiliate, is
committed to providing effective programs and services,
which enhance its customers' business operations and profits.

Primary Power: |

Market Post Tower has 480 volt, 3-phase power
delivered to the central power riser on each
floor via a conduit riser system. Power allocated
is based on the tenant's actual demonstrated
loads. Typical power allocation is 80 watts
per sq. ft.in suite 1070 and 1090 data centers. |
Emergency Power: |
|
The Landlord has one 2000 KW generator, a 900
KW generator and a 500 KW generator. Generator
power is brought to the power riser on each
floor through a conduit riser system. An additional
2000 KW generator will be added as demand increases. |

The Landlord is installing a new, fully redundant,
1,500-ton condenser water system with tenant
tap-ins pre-installed in one of the wet risers
on each floor. |
